Vacuum Instrumentation Feedthroughs |
|
Low current/voltage feedthroughs for vacuum instrumentation.
Instrumentation feedthroughs are specifically designed to transfer low current and low voltage signals with a standard plug on the atmosphere side that mates to a socket cable attachment. These are available in coaxial and multi-pin versions with a variety of connector type including: BNC, MHV, SHV, D-type Lemo etc. Coaxial feedthroughs use coaxial cables and are intended for applications where the reduction of stray electrical noise pickup is important.
When choosing an instrumentation feedthrough the shielding, grounding, voltage of signal wire, impedance and number of connections must all be considered. Some instrumentation feedthroughs can also be used as low electrical feedthroughs.
