Our UHV sample holders provide the widest possible range of sample heating, cooling and electrical conditions to address every conceivable surface science application.

Since all of our models are based around one standard design (the PTS), all critical parts across the range can be replaced without breaking vacuum.

PTS Standard: Base model sample holder for easy sample mounting and with with sample bias function.

PTS 1000 HC: Sample holder made from molybdenum with indirect sample heating up to 1000°C and cooling down to –170°C.

PTS 1200 HC: Sample holder with electron beam heating up to 1200°C and cooling down to –180°C.

PTS 2000 HC: Sample holder with electron beam heating up to 2000°C.

PTS Cleave HC: Sample holder made from copper with indirect sample heating up to 600°C and cooling down to –180°C, dedicated for cleaver chamber.

PTS Quartz: Sample holder with integrated quartz balance.
